Indian Institute Of Space Science And Technology is the Asia’s first Space Institute. it offers the programs for undergraduate, post graduate, doctoral. It’s concept is given by honourable Prime Minister in January 2007. It was started on 14 September 2007 by Dr. G. Madhavan Nair. IIST functions as an independent body under the Department of Space, Government of India. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology or IIST was located at Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
