The National Law School of India University is founded in 1987. National Law School campus is located at Dwarka, New Delhi. The University offers an opportunity to explore the undiscovered nuances of the legal profession and is engaged in setting new standards in legal education. The NLSIU moved to its own premises at the present address in 1992. The National Law School has won laurels in various fields connected and disconnected with the law. The NLSIU mission is to prepare lawyers of tomorrow for handling legal issues not only restricted to the national boundaries but also complex cross-border transactions, by developing legal skills in core specialized areas such as Business Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Laws, and Trade Laws. The courses are structured in an ingenious manner which helps the students to undertake Honours courses like Business Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, Trade Related Laws & WTO, Criminal Law, Constitutional Governance, and Human Rights Studies.
