The Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society, London, established its Christian work in Hyderabad, the capital city of the earstwhile state of the Nizam of Hyderabad in the year 1879. Secunderabad, was then under administrative control of the British Cantonment. The Middle School gradually gained such popularity that it became necessary for it to be shifted to a new and spacious premises . Accordingly, it moved to its present site on Prenderghast Road in1910 and was later upgraded into a High School. There after the school had asteady multidimensional progress in academic work, sports and games, discipline and moral values . It was a school very much sought after by the residents of Secunderabad, as it had the good fortune of being served by eminent educationist-missionaries. It occupied a prominent place among the institutions of the Wesleyan Mission in the then Nizam’s Dominion.
