About the exam
Applications are invited for AFMC Admission 2010 to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, starting from 02 Aug 2010. Total 130 students included (admitting a maximum of 25 girls) will be chose. ll the 105 boys and 25 girls admitted to AFMC, Pune have needed indebtedness to do as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical serves on graduation. The type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and merit-cum-option at the ultimate MBBS Examination.

AFMC Exam 2010 Eligibility
Students must have cleared the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or equal examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other accepted Board/University as a regular student in entirely the subjects chose for in FIRST effort with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology assuring not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.
AFMC Exam 2010 Age Limit
Must have achieved the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must NOT have achieved the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born before than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993,

AFMC 2010 Prospectus and AFMC 2010 Forms can be bought for Rs. 250/- in cash at the General/Head/Central/Main Post Offices located on the AFMC center places from 21 Dec 2009 till stocks last or 29 January 2010.
AFMC Exam 2010 Selection Procedure
Students, who are chanced provisionally legal as per the criteria of eligibility, will be addressed at one of the examination centres to perform in the competitive examination on 1st Sunday of May. Supply of admit cards. However does not inevitably mean acceptance of eligibility which will be farther sized up at subsequent stages of choice.
The spelt examination centre will be assigned to students depending upon the administrative arrangements for the examination and availability of adequate seating capability The Roll Number of the students who qualify for interview grounded on the above written examination will be printed in the leading newspapers
