Armed Forces Medical College is a prime medical institute of the country recognized as a centre of excellence for education and research. Armed Forces Medical College is a premier institute for medical education in the india. AFMC is managed by Indian armed forces. It was launched in 01 May 1948 at Pune as a graduate training and research centre. The college supplies instructing to under-graduate and post-graduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in the defense services.
MBBS 2010
Applications are requested for admission to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from 02 Aug 2010. Application forms will be available in the intended post offices across the country. The application form can too be received by sending a application for the form to AFMC along with a demand draft.
Application Procedure
The course commences in the month of August. Advertisements for achievement appear in the conducting news papers of the country in the month of December every year, for MBBS course. Campaigners are needed to submit their application forms in the dictated format, along with other necessary documents observed therein.
Eligibility
A campaigner must have achieved at age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010 and should not be more than 22 years on 31st December, 2010. Applicants must have authorized the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or substitute examination of legal Indian University/Board or any other realized Board/University as a usual student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of total marks in the three science subjects taken unitedly, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.
