All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is the best medical institute in India. AIIMS was launched by an act of parliament in 1956 and therefore is an institution of national grandness. An MBBS degree from AIIMS is not just well accepted in India but out of India as well. So there is no question that AIIMS is the most aimed institution in India for students who want to do MBBS.

Eligibility for Pmt
To get admission in MBBS course in AIIMS a student has to cleared class 12th with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST students the lower limit aggregate needed is 50%. Also a student should have achieved the age of at least 17 years by 31st December, 2010.
Pattern of examination
AIIMS Entrance for MBBS is of three and a half hours length having 200 multiple option and reason-asseveration type questions. There are 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge. There is negative marking for incorrect answers.
Application Forms
Application forms for AIIMS are usable in Mid-January from the assigned State Bank of India branches around the nation. The form can also be got by post by posting a request for form along with a DD to AIIMS. The students have to fill the form and send it along with needed documents to AIIMS.
