All India Tennis Association (AITA) was established in March, 1920. AITA is organization that organizes the all kinds of tennis activities in India. AILTA (All India Lawn Tennis Association) changed its name in AITA (All India Tennis Association). The first meeting of AITA was held at the Town Hall at Delhi in November 1920. Mr. Samuel Perry was the President of the AITA. He was selected President in the first AGM. AILT is also decision to hold the annual “All India National Championships”. The All India Tennis Association is organize first ever Asian International Championship in Calcutta in 1949-1950. ATIA starts Grand Prix tournaments in 1970s. The AITA has been developed full-fledged modern National Stadium at Delhi in the year 1996. This stadium has the setting capacity of 5000 people at a time.

The Association invites the application for the posts and conduct examination or direct interviews. For sporting posts physical test is must.
