Al-Ameen Medical College at Bijapur was begun on the month of September, 1984 with the hardworking attempts of Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, the establisher of Al-Ameen Movements. The college assumptions spread over two hundred acres of land on western hills of historical city of Bijapur. The main college building, administrative block, recreation hall, the play ground, basket ball stadium, boys and ladies hostels, central library, five hundred bed main hospital equiped with the modern amenities to provide the demands of people of Bijapur and environing fields have added beauty to the campus.
