Alagappa University Molecular Diagnostics Entrance Examination 2011
Alagappa University recognized with ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is situated at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu is approachable from Madurai and Tiruchirappalli Airports within 2 hours. The University a particular supplementary examination at the end of the academic year for those who are having arrear in one subject (either theory or practical) to complete their programme of study the examination section is fully computerized to maintain confidentiality and ensure quick services.
Alagappa University inviting application from eligible candidates for upcoming session 2011-2012 who wish to do M.Sc. Advanced Diploma in Molecular Diagnostics, all the related details are given below:-

M.Sc. Advanced Diploma in Molecular Diagnostics
Eligibility
A first class M. Sc., Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genomic Sciences), Agriculture/ Veterinary Sciences/ Fisheries Sciences / Pharmacy or M. Tech., in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or equivalent (Minimum marks for SC/ST candidates is 50%).
Entrance Examination:
Entrance Examination will be took in Karaikudi and Chennai on second week of October 2011. The Question Paper for Entrance Examination consisting of 75 objective type (75×1=75 marks) and 5 descriptive type (5×5=25 marks) questions will embrace subjects such as Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Bioinformatics and Molecular Diagnostics at the PG level.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made based on the marks scored in the Entrance Examination and Reservation Policy stipulated by the Government of India.
Application:
The Application may be downloaded from the websites www.alagappabiotech.org and www.alagappauniversity.ac.in and filled in application should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft of prescribed amount in favour of “The Registrar, Alagappa University”, payable at “Karaikudi” for the specified amount. Applicants have to write their name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft.
