The history of Aligarh Muslim University can be traced back to 1875 when Sir Syed Ahmed Khan constituted the Muhammedan Anglo Oriental College. The college became a full-fledged University in 1920 and today Aligarh Muslim University provides more than 250 courses to both Indian and Foreign Nationals. In 2010 the AMU MBA Entrance examination will be held on the mid of May, 2010.

The individuals must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate / Pre Medical Examination of this University or an examination accepted by the University as its equivalent in the subject of physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have got a lower limit of 50% marks.
