All India Medical Entrance Exam 2010

Introduction
All India Medical Entrance Exam (AU-AIMEE) is carried by Annamalai University for accession to its several medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc(Nursing) and B Pharm. The Exam is conducted by Annamalai University in various parts of Tamil Nadu and other divisions of the country.

Eligibility criteria:
An examinee should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.

AU AIMEE Application Forms

To get Application forms by Post, the candidates should send a requisition form letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.300/- The Demand Draft should drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University Annamalainagar 608 002.

AU AIMEE Exam Pattern:
Questions for the above Examinations will be based only on the Syllabi and Text Books dictated for the Second Year of the Tamil Nadu H.Sc. (Academic Course).
The exam will be conducted in two sections:
a) PAPER I – Botany and Zoology
b) PAPER I I- Physics and Chemistry

Selection Procedure:
Admission will be made on the basis of marks received in the applicable Subjects in the specifying Examinations (H.Sc. OR Equivalent) and in the Entrance Examinations, besides an Interview to be conducted by the University.

Important Dates:
The Central Board of Secondary Examination, CBSE Delhi takes an All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam.
1. Sale of the application forms : 1st week of March
2. Last date for the receipt of the forms : 2nd week of April
3. Date of commencement of exam : 1st week of May
