Allahabad University 2011 MBA Admission Entrance Exam
The Allahabad University conducts an admission process for admission to its MBA and MBA (Rural Development) programmes. MONIRBA has been providing the Post Graduate Programme in MBA since 1965 while GB Pant Social Science Institute was established in 1980. The Master of Business Administration Programme is available at Motilal Nehru Institute of Research & Business Administration while MBA (Rural Development Programme is available at G.B Pant Social Science Institute.
Those short listed through the written test are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview for final selection. For the admission in Master of Business Administration programmes of the Allahabad University of the candidates have to appear in an Entrance Test conducted by the University. Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institute. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Date if Entrance Test: May 4th week, 2011
Last date of submitting completed application form: April 3rd week, 2011
Selection process
Candidates have to first appear in a written Entrance Test conducted by the Allahabad University. Those short listed through the written test are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
The written test is of three hours durations consisting of 200 multiple choice questions divided in the following sections:
1. Quantitative Aptitude: The Candidates are 50 questions
2. Communication Ability in English: The Candidates are 50 questions
3. Aptitude and Reasoning: The Candidates are 50 questions
4. General Awareness: The Candidates are 50 questions
Three marks are awarded for a right answer and 1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. Personal Interview and Group Discussion is of 50 marks each.

@ Shivan – you can go the web site of Monirba (university of Allahabad) for complete details of MBA. The minimum program duration for MBA is 3 years, you’ll be seeing an advertisement the newspapers soon. There’s a screening process in which you have to get selected after that you’ll have go through a second phase of group discussion and personal interview for final selection.
