AMIE 2011 Exams Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers
Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers formally known as AMIE which is professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers is also recognised by UK-NARIC as British Bachelor’s Honours degree.
Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) was founded in 1920 in Kolkata, West Bengal; AMIE is acclaimed to have initiated non-formal education in Engineering. IEI (I) held an examination for Associate Membership. For admission in B.E/B.Tech Program for academic session 2011. The Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers Exam is held twice in a year which is individually designed for two streams i.e. Diploma Stream (Senior Technician Members) and Non Diploma Stream (Technician Members). For Technician Members:
The candidate should have passed in the Standard XII Examination (45% minimum aggregate).
For Senior Technician Membership:
The selection as a Senior Technician Member or for transfer from being a Technician Member to a Senior Technician Member, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
The examinee should have passed a diploma examination in engineering or technology or its equivalent recognised by the Council
