Introduction
Founded in 1923, Andhra Medical College in Visakapatnam is one of the most former medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh and can be regarded as one of the oldest colleges in India. Ever after from the day of formation, the college has always been able to reach national recognition as a center of excellence in higher education for medical science. The ‘medical school’ was initially linked with the Madras University, but at present the medical college has been related with King George Hospital (KGH), on with a number of different regional hospitals.

50% Marks in Biological & Physical Sciences.; the student must have cleared the examination in physics, chemistry, biology and English singly and must have got 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together, in both the examinations.
