The Andhra Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation was built in August, 1958 under Sub- division 1, division 18 of the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1958 enacted by the Parliament. The Warehousing Corporation is empowered to acquire and establish Warehouses for store of Agricultural produce, seeds, fertilizers and other notified commodities and also to act as an agent of the Central Warehousing Corporation or of the Government, for the purport of purchases, sales store, statistical distribution.
