Army college of Dental Science is having been established under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society as a center of excellence for Dental Education. The main motive of college is to carrying a high standard Dental education coupled with the development of good moral character. The college has been approved by the Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health & Family benefit. Army college of Dental Science is affiliated to NTR University of health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, Vijaywada. Army College of Dental Science (ACDS) is the first among the above to be established here.

The college have there own library which have 2201 books. The library is available for college students and faculty member of the college.
Admission criteria
For admission in B.D.S degree course candidate should fight the Combined Written Admission Test (C-WAT) entrance test to be conducted by ACDS for 2008-2009.
