The Jawaharlal Nehru University established by the Jawaharlal Nehru University Act 1966, (53 of 1966) came into being in 1969. Jawaharlal Nehru University will contain the entrance examination in 2011for admission to the merged Biotechnology Entrance Exam for admission into MSC. Biotechnology, Msc (Agri) and M. Tech in Biotechnology is took by Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi for various participating Universities. The exams will be contained on behalf of 30 participating universities at 79 centers across the nation and one overseas in Kathmandu.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be graduates under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Chemical Engineering Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Leather Technology, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics & Bioinformatics, B.Pharma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to appear in the entrance exam. However candidates who are appearing in the qualifying entrance exam are also eligible to apply.
Reservation/ Concession:
Reservation 15%, 7V4% and 3% of seats shall be reserved for SC, ST and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) (PH) individuals severally. All the SC/ST and PH candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination are eligible to apply irrespective of their percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) takes Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET). On the base of PACET merit, candidates are accepted into 5 year B.Arch., 4 years B. Planning and 6year B.Arch. (PTDC) and other associated courses. 6-Year Part Time Degree Course (PTDC) is for Diploma holders in Architecture with 2 years of experience as architectural assistant. JNTU PACET 2011 Planning and Architecture Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) invites for the admission to 4, 5 and 6 years courses in planning and architecture for its upcoming session 2011-2012. This admission will be done on the base of Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET). This test is conducted by JNTU.
