B J Medical College
Introduction
B.J. Medical College was founded in 1871 as the Ahmedabad Medical School with the opening of 14 students for Hospital Assistant training. In 1879, it was called after the late Hon. It was associated to the Gujarat University in 1951 for under graduation and in 1956 for Post graduation. B J Medical College provides 5.5 years bachelor’s degree courses in MBBS. Admission to this course will be base on the merit list created by the score of the candidates in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). The college has a famous past and many alumni have exceeded in medicine (in India and abroad) as well as in arts (drama, literature, and cinema) and politics. It has been placed among the Top 10 Medical Colleges in India in a 2009 survey.

Eligibility
To get admission in MBBS course a candidate has to pass class 12th with 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Admission will be allowed to candidates applications presented by the several sanctioned centers or in the campus on the dictated Application Form filled up and completed in all values by the candidate in their own handwriting.

The Placement Committee of the School guided by a senior staff and supported by other staff members, an experienced placement officer and student placement committee is responsible for facilitating 100% placement of students.

My daughter would like to take admission for post BSc Nursing. She passed GNM and presently working in Saudi Arabia. Can this course be done by distant education? How can she do practical?
