Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, popularly famous as BIDS, is between the ahead dental institutes in the state of Karnataka. The institution is a division of a total group of colleges had by the Vignan teaching Foundation Trust. The institution is attached to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore BIDS Bangalore was founded in 1992, when the Vignan Educational Trust began a grouping of colleges and educational institutes, to fulfill the educational demands of Karnataka.

Eligibility
Undergraduate
The student, applying for the course, should have cleared Senior Secondary (10+2) from an accepted board/university.
Post Graduate
The student should have finished Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery, from an accepted university/college.
Admission Procedure
Undergraduate
Allocation to the college is done by the Common Entrance Test (CET), held in May every year, in Karnataka. Students performing for the CET must have finished their Pre-University course (10+2) or equal, from an accepted Board. The student is eligible to perform for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, furnished he/she has passed 10+2 from an accepted Board. The admission is provided to the qualifying student, depending on the achievement in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
Post Graduate
The eligible student should have finished BDS from any accepted medical college. The student will then be needed to appear at the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and on the base of the achievement in the examination, the admission will be considered.

Hi, I have appeared for KCET 2010,& haven’t scored any medical rank.. Is there any chance for me to get admitted into a BDS course..? plz. do rply..
