BARC 2011 Recruitment Bhabha Atomic Research Centre:
The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is Indias primary nuclear research facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for Indias nuclear power and research programme. The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is a unique nuclear research institute which carries out a number of researches in the division of nuclear sciences and related technologies. Dr. Bhabha was an astute scientist and committed engineer, a dedicated architect, a meticulous planner and a perfect executive. The Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET) was formally dedicated to the nation by the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on January 20, 1957.

Course Content :The course contents covers radiation physics, radiation chemistry, radiation biology, electronics and instrumentation, statistics, computational methods, applications of radioisotopes in medicine, industry research & agriculture and radiation hazards evaluation and control.

Eligibility: Those having M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry, Biology (or) related science subjects with minimum 60% * marks in M.Sc as well as B.Sc (or) B.E. / B.Tech. (or) equivalent with minimum 60% * marks in one of the following Engineering disciplines: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation are eligible to apply.

BARC 2011 Recruitment How To Apply : Completed applications in the prescribed Performa should be sent to the Administrative Officer – III, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Post Bag no. 1, Yelwal Post, Mysore – 571130 (Karnataka)

BARC 2011 Recruitment Application Fee : Crossed Indian Postal Order/DD for Prescribe amount drawn in favour of Pay & Accounts Officer, BARC Facilities, Kalpakkam payable at Kalpakkam.

BARC 2011 Recruitment Written Test: It is conducted in each of the five Science disciplines (codes 41-43 & 45-46) at the centers listed in Table-4 along with their codes for short-listing candidates for interview. Travel Allowance is not paid for appearing in the written test. It is conducted for short-listing in science and engineering disciplines candidates for admission to BARC training schools.
