Bharathiar University Coimbatore founded by Tamilnadu state legislature below Bharathiar University act, 1981 (Tamilnadu act no. 1 of 1982) The University is Recognized By the distance education council (DEC), New Delhi and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Bharathiar University Invites application form for B.Ed. Program for academic Session 2010-11.

Eligibility:
The candidate should have passed any graduate Degree from any Recognized University
The candidate must having Teachers serving in recognized schools with a minimum of two years of teaching experience are eligible for admission to the programme.

PG in Economics and Commerce both UG and PG must be in the same subject. For further details refer the website www.b-u.ac.in

Mode of selection:
Based on the performance in the entrance examination and Tamilnadu state government communal reservation norms.

Duration:
2 years

Application from
Course Catalog and application form can be found by cash payment or by post from 07.12.2009 on sequestration with a cost of Rs. 500/- in the form of a DD drawn in favour of ‘The Director, School of Distance Education’, payable at Coimbatore and self-addressed stamped envelope (25”x35”) to the value of Rs. 50/-. Please note that cash payment will not be assumed.

The cost of application form once paid will not be repaid. Examinees can also download the application form and other details from the website www.b-u.ac.in and submit the filled in application form with required fee of Rs. 500/-. Filled in application forms should be sent to The Director, School of distance education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641046
