It is the intention of the University to enter in the task of instilling requirement knowledge, attainments and originative Attitudes and values between the youth of the country. In May, 1985 the University got the identification from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the purpose of grants. The University strains to recognize the sight of India and excel in advancing and defending the rich heritage of our past and worldly ideals of the nation.

The candidates must have finished 10+2+3 years of study before being admitted to the M. C. A. course.
Selection Process
Candidate’s selection process is based on performance in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test TANCET conducted by University.
How to apply
The candidates can get the application form from the official website of , Bharathiar University. The application form also available from the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641 046 on payment of Rs. 300/- to be remitted by a demand draft of a Nationalised bank, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Bharathiar University payable at Coimbatore. SC/ST candidates have to pay only Rs.100/- provided they produce an attested photo copy of his / her community certificate.
