In August 1984, Bharat Ratna Shri. C. Subramaniam along with Prof. P.S.Mani Sundaram, the Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University chaired a Meeting of conducting academicians and Industrialists and an idea was born. BIM relishes a unique dependent relationship with BHEL in terms of academic remarks and uninterrupted industry exposure. BIM has an annual consumption of 120 students. BIM provides one of the most desired MBA programmes in India. BIM’s excellence over the years had led the Honourable President Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to choose BIM as an ideal training ground for DRDO Scientists.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have a bachelor degree after 10+2 in any discipline from any recognized University should have done by the candidates, to be eligible for this PG program.
Selection process
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in Entrance Test: CAT with good score. Candidates short-listed on the basis of Entrance Test score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

The candidates can get the application form from the official website of University and also get by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.1400/- (SC/ST Rs.920/-) along with two self-addressed slips by regular mail to BIM address given below.Candidate who wants to apply has to carry filled registration form, support documents & D/D to the Test center for Registration & appointment.
