Also famous as BIMIT, the institute came into existence in 1994 and is one of the institutions of Orissa Trust of Technical teaching and Training (OTTET). Attached to Utkal University, the management institute has been sanctioned by All India Council for Technical teaching (AICTE), New Delhi.
