BIMTECH 2011 Admissions
The BIMTECH (Birla Institute of Management Technology) is considered to be among the best institutes of management in India. The Institutes was established in 1988 by Birla group of Companies. BIMTECH is located in Greater Noida and has a residential campus of the best of facilities, faculty, resources, placement opportunities and infrastructure the top 20 business school in India. BIMTECH invites the application forms for admissions.
Selection Procedure
On the basis of CAT scores the candidates are short listed for admission to BIMTECH. Final selection is the based on various criteria, weight ages for which are as given:
The Group Discussion: 20%
The Personal Interview: 30%
Write Up: 8%
The CAT Percentile: 10%
The Graduation presents: 10%
10th & 12th %: 10%
Miscellaneous (Work Experience, Institute of excellence etc): 12%
Availabaility of forms for BIMTECH Admissions 2011
The forms for BIMTECH admissions 2011 can be downloaded from the website. Candidates are required to send the dully filled application form along with the prescribed amount of demand draft. The Admission forms for Birla Institute of Management Technology will be available by September end at the various centers of PT Education, Career Forum, IMS, TIME, Career Launcher etc.
Important Dates (Tentative):
The Personal Interview and Group Discussions: Mid-February, 2011
The Declaration of list of selected candidates: March 1st week, 2011
The Availability of application forms: September last week, 2010
The Last date for submission of forms: December 2nd week, 2010
Eligibility criteria:
The Candidate in final year of the graduation can also apply for BIMTECH. For to apply Birla Institute of Management Technology a candidate has to be a graduate with at least 50% marks in Graduation.
Exam Pattern
The BIMTECH consider CAT scores for interview. On the basis of marks in CAT the candidates are called for the interview and GD.
Reservation
The reservations in the BIMTECH Admissions 2011 are as per the government rules.
Results
The result of exam will be declared on will be available at the campus office and official website. Successful candidates will be contacted by mail/correspondence.

i did my post graduate programme in management 10-year ago from ALLIANCE BUSINESS SCHOOL, BANGLORE.Iwant to pursue my study for ph.D degree,BIMTEC GREATER NOIDA.please reply.
earlier i applied for ph.D degree of Delhi university,JNU,PATNA UNIVERSITY,KOLKATA UNIVERSITY,BHU,ALLIGARH MUSLLIM UNIVERSITY. But all have rejected my application outrightly on the ground that i am not eligible for pursuing ph.D degree.i have e-mailed to ALLIANCE BUSSINESS ACADEMY BANGLORE TO clarify the position.reminders were given but no reply.kindly inform soon.
