The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was constituted in 1972 at BIT Mesra and is a robust scientific community with highly qualified and competent academic staff, a big number of postgraduate students, research fellows and visiting scientists. It is well equipped for both teaching and research activities, which are undertaken around the whole spectrum of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Department promotes and supports studies involving a range of research strategies and has particular expertise and experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods admitting studies of innovation.
