Birla Institute of Technology and Science, or BITS, as it is popularly acknowledged, was launched as a deemed University in 1964 under section 3 of the U.G.C. Act 1956.The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani provides degree programmes in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. BITS also furnish opportunities to board-toppers for direct admission to their institutes without any entrance examination.
BITSAT is an entrance exam for admission to several institutes of Birla Institute of Technology and Science for bachelor engineering programmes in their Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campus.

Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2010 by holding in the dictated BITSAT Application Form online. Complete the application form Online at http://www.bitsadmission.com/ and take the print out of the filled BITSAT 2010 Form.
The accomplished BITSAT Application Form 2010 along with the appointed fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for female candidates) should be sent to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani – 333 031. Details for payment of fees are available at the website while applying online.
