CAT 2011 (Common Admission Test) is Conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), considered to be the most prestigious B-schools of India. CAT 2011 is an entrance exam for students who desire to engage Post Graduate level Management Degree from world famous IIM’s. Selection in CAT is completed by Group Discussions and Personal Interviews, functions as the basis for admission. Apart from the IIM’s, a candidate can take admission in many other business schools with a CAT score. The CAT Exam is Held Once in a Year.

Eligibility Criteria for CAT 2011
The Candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree with 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST) from any Recognised University.
Appearing in Final Year candidate may also apply for This Program.
CAT Papers Pattern
1. The CAT question paper has four unlike segments, namely, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Problem Solving and Data Interpretation.
2. These multiple choices questions and are commanded to be answered only with a HB pencil on a computer coded OMR answer sheet.
3. For each incorrect answer you get negative marks.
4. Every year, the IIMs change the question pattern to preclude certainty.
5. You should therefore have a deeper understanding of concepts and their applications to succeed in the CAT.
6. It is to be noted that you have to execute well in all the three divisions of the CAT as the test assesses the overall aptitude of the student
