Introduction
The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) is a Statutory Body constituted by the Govt. of India under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. Main aims of the Council are to dictate minimum measures of teaching in Indian Systems of Medicine comprising of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha; to suggest Central Government in the matters relating to recognition of medical qualification in these Systems of Medicine; to maintain a Central Register of Indian Medicine and to prescribe Standards of Professional carry, Etiquette and Code of Ethics to be observed by the practitioners. At present, there are 254 Ayurveda, 41 Unani and 9 Siddha medical colleges providing undergraduate and post-graduate degree courses, accepted by CCIM and associated to 51 unlike Universities in the nation.
CCIM: ban admissions to Ayurvedic colleges
The peak torso of the ayurvedic and Unani colleges in the nation has lashed out at the State Government for allowing admission of students to substandard ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka.
The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), in its petition before the Karnataka High Court, wants admissions to ayurvedic colleges banned this year.

Sir can I get the circular which has been given by AYUSH or CCIM regarding the rules for the teachers who are leaving the institutions frequently. And rules regarding the leaving a job and joining in another college.

Can we get realistic information about first year BAMS admission? As parents, we have lost our peace as there no particular information. Please giude.

sir as we know that we r BAMS n we should use ayurvedic medicines,but can we practice with the allopathic medicines in uttar pradesh.
