Introduction
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, requests applications from campaigners who are genuine Indian citizens and having consistently good academic record. campaigners should have strong motivation to pursue investigate in modern biology contributing to a Ph.D degree.
CCMB was set up initially as a semi-independent Centre on April 1, 1977 with the Biochemistry Division of the then Regional Research Laboratory Hyderabad creating its nucleus and Dr P M Bhargava heading the new Centre. Earlier, the Governing Board of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, the apex body which established 44 research institutions in the India, accredited the proposal in 1976 to launch such a Centre in view of the importance of research in the frontier and multi-disciplinary fields of modern biology.
Qualifications
1st Class M.Sc/BE/BTech./MCA in areas of Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Maths / Compuer Science.
Applications
campaigners may provide their applications along with 21.4.2010 in the prescribed proforma available on the CCMB website www.ccmb.res.in, to the Controller of Administration, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Uppal Road, Hyderabad – 500 007.
Interviews
All the applications will be tested and the list of campaigners found to be eligible for interview will be posted on the CCMB website on 23 January 2009 Campaigners found eligible should appear for interview on the date and time notified on the CCMB website. No individual call letter for interview will be issued.
