The human genome project has obviously underlined the universality of life in the form of a common heritage that is DNA, with every other individual being 99.9% identical to the other. The DNA fingerprinting service, given the fact that it has been shown to bring about dramatic increase in the conviction rate, will continue to be in much demand. With the crime burden on the society increasing, more and more requests for DNA fingerprinting are naturally anticipated. The Centre is realized by the University of Hyderabad for pursuing Ph.D. programme in Life Sciences. The centre is equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate working in frontier areas of research in Life Sciences.
Eligibility for CDFD 2011 Recruitment
The candidate should have passed M.B.B.S. or Masters Degree in any branch of Science, Technology, or Agriculture from a recognized Institute /University. OR The Candidates should have passed the CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/ICAR NET for JRF.
Selection process
The candidate Selection to CDFD-Research Scholars program is based on a 2-tier system involving a written / online examination followed by interview of candidates who have qualified the written / online examination.
