CENTAC JET Exam is directed by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry. CENTAC JET is popularly known as the Centralized Admission Committee Joint Entrance Test. focused Admission Committee Joint Entrance Test is organized for admission into the first year of BPharm, BTech, BDS, BVSc & AH, BSc (Nursing), BPT and BSc (MLT) degree courses offered at the several government sponsored colleges in Periphery.

CENTAC JET exam comprises of objective type multiple choices, and questions are based in the following grounds – Mathematics and Biology (Zoology & Botany), Physics, Chemistry.
Seats availability
There are a number (total) of 450 seats available in Pondicherry Engineering College and 180 seats in Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineeringg & Technology. 85% seats in both colleges are reserved for Pondicherry candidates while rest of the seats is open to all India candidates.
