CENTAC M.TECH 2011 Admission
Pondichery Centralized Admission Committee Joint Entrance Test (CENTAC JET) is a yearly based entrance examination took for admission in to various courses like engineering, medical, dental and law colleges of Pondicherry by Centralized Admission Committee. Admission by JET in B.Tech course is available in Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) & Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engg., & Tech., Karaikal. Students have to obtain high scores in this exam in order to get admission in interested course. Applications are invited for admission to the first year PG programmes (M.Tech., MCA, M.Phil., M.Sc.) offered by Pondicherry Engineering College and Government quota seats in M.Tech., MCA and MBA offered by private self financing colleges for the academic year 2011-2012
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Civil / Chemical Engineering by regular course of study from an AICTE sanctioned institution or an examination of any University and Authority accepted by the Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto, with at least 55% marks in the degree examination
Availability of Application form:
The forms for CENTAC JET will be available from PEC and selected Head Post Offices in Pondicherry. The form can also be obtained by post from PEC by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.
Admission Procedure:
The selection of candidates for admission to M.Tech programme will be based on the Merit List in CET 2011 trained by CENTAC- M.Tech.
Important Dates:
Availability of Application Form: End of the month of April, 2011
Last date of submitting completed Application Form: third week of June, 2011
Examination date For M.Tech.2011: second week of July 2011
