Eligibility
Minimum qualifications required for admission to the Post Graduate curricula are:
A) Min of 50% total marks in the below mentioned degree curricula is essential for the general class and 45% total marks for SC/ ST/ OBC category examinees.
B) GATE eligible examinees are accorded priority.
C) Minimum Qualifications required are:
1. Urban and Regional Planning, 2 Housing, 3 Infrastructure Planning
Graduate Degree (or equal) in Architecture/Civil Engineering / Planning or a Master’s Degree (or equal) in Geography / Economics /Sociology from a accredited University /Institution
Environmental Planning Bachelor’s Degree (or equal) in Architecture/Civil Engineering / Planning or a Master’s Degree (or equal) in Environmental science/Geography / Economics / Sociology from a accredited University / Institution
Industrial Area Planning and Management:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equal) in Architecture/ Civil Engineering / Planning or a Master’s Degree (or equal) in Management / Environmental science/ Geography / Economics / Sociology from a accredited University / Institution
Urban Transport Planning and Management
Bachelor’s Degree (or equal) in Architecture/Engineering (Civil & Transport) / Planning or a Master’s Degree (or equal) in Geography / Economics / Sociology from a accredited University / Institution
Rural Planning & Management Bachelor’s Degree (or equal) in Architecture/Civil Engineering / Planning/ Agricultural Engineering or a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Geography / Economics / Sociology / Social Work/ Law/ Management/ Environmental science/ Agriculture Science/ Commerce from a accredited University / Institution
Fees and Admission Procedure
Details on Admission and application form can be obtained from the Administration, CEPT University Ahmedabad from 31/04/2010 onwards. The information can also be transferred from the website www.spcept.ac.in or www.cept.ac.in. Finished application
form along with requisite Bank Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favor of “CEPT University” payable at Ahmedabad, should be referred on or before 5:00 p.m., 1/06/2010.
