CIMAP PHD 2010 Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Admissions

Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) is a component laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), a central sovereign body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The Institute takes research in all frontline areas of plant biology, agriculture and chemistry and invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in CIMAP – JNU Ph.D. for upcoming year 2011-2012, related details are given below:-

Eligibility:
Candidates who have completed or will be completing M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Agriculture / Botany / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Bioscience / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics) with minimum 55% marks and have cleared CSIR UGC NET Exam / ICMR NET Exam / DBT JRF Exam.

Application Procedure:
Application preformed may also be down loaded from website. Completed application forms must be accompanied with a crossed DD for prescribed fee in favour of Director, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow. A Demand Draft of prescribed fee is acceptable from SC/ST/OBC candidate rendered relevant documentary proof is attached with the application.

CIMAP P Hd Fee Structure: Candidates selected for CIMAP-JNU Ph.D Programme will be required to pay under the following fees structure:
1. Tuition Fee
2. Admission & Enrolment fee
3. Security Deposit (Refundable)
4. Identity Card folder
5. Registration fee

Selection
The selection will be made on the basis written test or personal interview. The selected candidates will be enrolled for Ph.D Program in academic affiliation with the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Lucknow.

    I have completed my M.Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry) from Institue of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra, Haryana, India during the session 2008-2010. My reasearch project topic was,”Preliminary phytochemical screening, Antifrtility and Antimicrobial studies of selected plant part.”I am already gate qualify in 2008-2010.Please tell me, whether i am applicable or not for Ph.D. in CIMAP during this year.Sir, i want to do something new research in natural products.if u give me a chance than i can prove it.if any research fellowship or any project or any Ph.D. programme would be carried out regarding to natural projects.In present i am doing job in Ind-Swift Limited, Global Business Unit, Punjab as a Inprocess Quality Assurance officer. but i want to do continuing my study. Please inform me.i want to a plateform to do my research work.but it cannot possibe without your help.please give me response.
