Introduction
Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET) carries an admission procedure for admission to its PG courses. CIPET is a superior institution launched By Government of India for Academic, Technology Support & Research for the plastic and allied industries. CIPET carries Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to its various PG courses. Several Post Graduate Courses available in CIPET are: M.Tech in Plastic Engineering/Technology, Nanotechnology & CAD/CAM/CAE & PG Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing. A two-year course leading to M.Tech in Plastics Technology was introduced at CIPET by Dr. K. Venkatasubramanian, previous member of the Planning Commission. CIPET JEE is directed across nearly 30 centers across the nation.
Eligibility criteria For M.Tech (Plastic Engineering/Technology)
A candidate should have 4 years degree B.E./B.Tech in mechanical/Chemical/Production/ Polymer/ Plastics Tech/Eng. or M.sc in Polymer Science/Chemistry with Polymer specialization.
Application Forms:
The forms will be available from all the CIPET centers by postponing a registration fee of Rs.400/- with your own addressed envelope size of 35cm x 25cm stamped for Rs.50/- in person or by post. Those receiving the form by post should send the accomplished application form with a DD along with a self addressed envelope.
Age limit: a candidate should not reached at the age of 35 Years
Centers: Headband, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hajipur and Lucknow etc.
