Introduction
In 1968, launched CIPET (Central Institute of Plastics Engineering) and Technology has been supplying several courses to suit the needs of the Plastics industry. At this time CIPET has translated with the concept of ATR (Academic, Technology Support & Research) by offering Doctoral, Postgraduate, Graduate, Post Diploma and Diploma Programs. CIPET is rendering courses under its four tier structure and the centers are specialized for a particular tier Programs. The 15 Centers of the Institute are responsible for academic actions, which include classroom Teaching, Professional and Practical training in State of Art Laboratories and Workshops, Research and Industrial consultancy.
Admission Procedure
The campaigners who satisfy the qualification standards will be called for interview. Selection will be based on the previous academic achievement and the marks secured in the interview. Admission to PhD program is possible any time in the year for all classes of research scholars. Joint Entrance Examination is a ordinary admission test for the campaigners seeking admission for M.Tech. Courses. It is conducted by CIPET corporate during the month of July every year. Selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in JEE and the previous academic performance and as per norms of joining university.
