Common Law Admission Test CLAT initiated as a require to have a common admission test for all the national law universities so that candidates are saved from the expenses and inconvenience of appearing in several entrance exams for different law universities.
CLAT is conducted by one of the national law universities every year based on a rotational policy. There are 11 national law universities in which admission is through CLAT.
CLAT is the most important exam for the candidates wants to pursue law as a career. Every year a very large number of students appear for CLAT Entrance Exams and the competition to get in the National Law Universities is quite tough. Common Law Admission Test-UG is an All India level admission test for admission to BA LLB programs of national law universities throughout the country.
Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2011 Entrance Exam
A candidate should have passed LLB/BA LLB degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories).

The CLAT Application form can be Obtained By Cash Payment from The Admission Office of The CLAT , The Application from also can be Obtained by Sending DD in Favour of Registrar of CLAT The Application from also can be Downloaded from the Official Website of The CLAT.
How to apply
The candidates downloaded the application form from the CLAT-2011 website the application form and submit the same in hard copy only. The candidate must attach with the application form the cash receipt of Prescribe amount as the case may be paid to the bank or the institution from where he has purchased the form.
