The College of Engineering Chengannur, an institution of excellence in the domain of technical education, was founded in the year 1993. The admissions are based on the rank secured by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted every year by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

Course FEE
The fee structure of the programme is determined by the Govt. of Kerala every year before the commencement of admission process. Once admitted, the fee structure of a student remains the same throughout the period of his/her study furnished the student finishes the coursework within duration of eight consecutive semesters.
Eligibility for 2011 Admissions
The candidate should have passed in Higher Secondary Examination/ equivalent with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics put together.
Selection Presses
The admission to Free-ship seats is conducted by CEE through an online counseling based on the rank secured by the candidate in the CET, finding statutory reservation policy of State Government. Admission to Full-fee seats also is fulfilled through the same online counseling process or through a separate counseling by IHRD management based on the rank secured by the candidate in the CET.

Yes, management seats are available here. Admission to management seats are not done by the college, but by the IHRD. Admissions are based on the ranks in the Kerala Entrance Exam. This means, those students applying for management seats will be called for in the order of the rank secured. You can then choose available seats from any engineering college managed by IHRD.
