CRPF 2011 Recruitment Central Reserve Police Force
The Central Reserve Police Force offered applications from for all Eligible Indian Nationals of recruitment to various posts by CRPF for 2011. Details of some of the popular posts Which Are Provided in Last Year Are Given below:
A. Sub-Inspector (Stenographer Grade III or ‘C’)/Assistant Sub-Inspect (Ministerial).
B. Constable (General Duty or GD)/Ct Fitter and Tradesmen! Head-Constable 01 Draftsman/Constable (Drivers)/Sub-Inspector (General Duty)/Constable (Radi Mechanic or RM).
Note: It may Possible the Central Reserve Police Force also provides the application form for this year Like Above maintained posts.
Age limit
For Category A: 18 to 25 years;
For Category B: 18 to 23 year except Sub-Inspector (GD) that is 19 to 24 years.
Upper age limit in both categories is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST
Minimum Educational Qualification

Selection Process
For Category A: Selection will be on the basis of:
(a) Physical Test;
(b) Written Examination;
(c) Typing Speed Test;
(d) Shorthand Speed Test;
(e) Interview.
Candidates who satisfy the educational and physical standards, etc., would be eligible to appear in the Written Examination of a single question paper containing of
(1) Part I -Hindi/English Language;
(2) Part 11- General Intelligence;
(3) Part III -Numerical Aptitude;
(4) Part IV -Clerical Aptitude.
Exam Pattern
Questions in all 4 parts will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
Candidates who specify in all 4 parts individually will be called for Shorthand /Typewriting Test.
The candidates, who assume minimum speed in Shorthand and Typewriting Test, will be called for Interview.
Careful Medical Examination of the successful candidates will be conducted at the place of recruitment.
The selected candidates will be sent for training at any of the Training Institutions of CRPF.
For Category B: There will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). For the post of Constable/Sub-Inspector (GD) one mile race, long jump minimum 11′ and high jump minimum 3 1/2′ is to be undertaken.
For the posts of Ct/Fitter and Tradesman candidates will be put through one mile race to be completed in eight minutes.
For Sub-Inspector (GD) in addition to PET there is a Written Examination consisting of Part A-General Awareness in G, Science, Numerical Aptitude and Test of Reasoning etc. (Objective Type) and Part B-English or Hindi Letter/Essay and descriptive questions ofGeneral Awareness and Environment.
The Personality Test (Interview) is also conducted.
Physical Standards
For Category A: For Male candidates:
(a) Height: 165 cms;
(b) Chest: 77 cms (Un-expanded), 82 cms (expanded);
(c) Weight: Depending on the height as for 165 cms -48 kg;
(d) Relaxation: For Adivasis including Mizos, Nagas etc; Height: 162.5 cms; Chest: 76 cms unexpanded, 81 cms expanded.
For Female candidates:
(a) Height: 157 cms for general candidates, 155 cms for Gorkhas/ Garhwalis/ Kumaonese/ Dogras/Marathas, 154 cms for Advasis;
(b) Weight: For height of 157 cms -43 kg, for height of 155 cms -42 kg, for height of 154 cms -41.5 kg.
Visual Standard:
Right eye 6/36, left eye 6/12 or each eye 6/24 without optical devices.
Colour blind candidates are not eligible for appointment.
Candidates should not have knock knee or flat foot or any other deformity/ailment.
For Category B: For Male candidates:
(a) Height: 170 cms;
(b) Chest: 80 cms (unexpanded), 85 cms (expanded);
(c) Weight: Depending on the height as for 170 cms -49.90 kg;
(d) Relaxation in Height: For men belonging to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Goa, Andaman and Nicobar & Lakshadweep -167.5 cms; For men belong to Mozoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam -162.5 cms; For Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimese and Ladhakhies – 165 cms; For Scheduled Tribes and Adivasis of all States/UTs-162.5 cms;
Chest:
For Scheduled Tribes and Adivasis -76 cms (unexpanded), 81 cms (expanded).
For Female candidates: Same as that of Category A.
Visual Standards
Both eyes 6/6 without optical device.
Colour blind candidates are not eligible for appointment.
