The University Of Cochin established the Department of Electronics in the year 1975. This is conceived of as a postgraduate Department with Master’s degree and Ph.D. programmes in subject fields of electronics. The Department was introduced by Prof. M. G. K. Menon in 1975.
The technical academic term of the Symposium admit presentation of contributed explore papers and invited lectures on some of the current and issuing topics in Ocean Electronics. These invited lectures are proposed for working engineers/scientists to update their acquirements and knowledge in some of the highly specialized and fast developing fields in Ocean Electronics.
CUSAT Department of Electronics has a unequaled aspect in the feel that the students expenditure their last semester in industries and R&D establishments. Their project work during this period will be monitored by senior officers/scientists of these organizations as ‘external guides’.
