Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad (ISMU) is a prime educational institute of this nation engaged in giving technical teaching since 1926. Its students have built their name in several industries globally and in the core sector industries we have a fresher front. Holding pace with the changing times, the Department of Management Studies established its MBA programme in 1997. The erstwhile Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IE&M) was reconstituted and re-christened as Department of Management Studies. Having run the M.Tech. Programme of IE&M for two full decades, the needed experience as well as expertise was available with the department to run the MBA program.
