Dairy technology is a part of scientific discipline, dealing with the processing of milk and its products. India Dairy technology was founded with industry and educational dairy The Diploma in Dairy Technology is developed in collaborationism with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. India ranks first in milk product in the world.
Anand Milk Union Ltd. Was established in 1946 known as AMUL. The state dairy departments and dairy science institutions, small and medium entrepreneurs, NGO functionaries/ trainers and dairy farmers. The first dairy science college was established at the National Dairy Research Institute in Karnal which now offers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dairy technology.
Eligibility
A candidate is required to pass the Higher Secondary or 10 + 2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to take an entrance test for admission who candidate applies for the dairy technology courses.
