The UNILAG (University of Lagos) invites Applications for from suitably eligible examinees for the Foundation Programmes in the 2010/2011 session. Highly successful examinees at the examinations are qualified for consideration for Direct Admission into the Degree Programmes of the University of Lagos by JAMB and some Universities in the UK. UNILAG Diploma is a strictly non-residential programme.
The UNILAG Diploma Programme
The UNILAG will offer an intensive 1-year taught Foundation courses of study in the following Faculties

Admission requirement for Diploma in UNILAG
A min of 5 Credits (English, Mathematics and 3 relevant disciplines) obtained in 1 sitting at the SSCE/WASC, GCE O/L, NECO with results obtained before enrollment. Engineering, Computer Science, and Actuarial Science examinees require a credit in Further Mathematics.

Mode of examination
All questions are multiple choices
Paper 1: Mathematics & English – 1 and half hours (100 questions)
Paper 2: Core subjects – 2 hours (150 questions)

i don’t think there is any other programme apart from this and the post jamb in unilag except for Dli which its entrance exam has already been done.

can i use my diploma cert. to seek admission in any international school?

i can’t really answer that question directly bcos i’ve never been asked,but i think it’s only for the school,since you’ll definitely be chosen if you pass at the end of the programme.and for international school i don’t think so cos they only accept TOEFL and other international programmes.Diploma is only for the school.

no,but i heard they offer diploma1,which will last 4 2 years b4 being admitted into 200L,i will confirm it and keep u posted.

Pls i want know if those candiate that hv problems in their foundation result espeacailly those that forgot to shade their programm code and that didnt shade accordily if they have been forgiven.if not i beg the authority of the school to have mercy on us and consider us, is not that we dont know how to shade but is exam stress.pls forgive us and consider us because to some of us that is our life and hope.God bless you.
