Distance Learning Operations Management

Operations Management curriculum offered through Bircham International University (BIU) by distance learning higher education up to a max of 33 credits. This curriculum identifies inventory, transportation, information, and services as the important drivers of successful operations management. The aim of this curriculum is to show the principles of operations and how they affiliate to making a firm more competitive.

Courses list (each discipline accounts for 3 credits):
1 BIU Earned Credit = 1 USA Semester Credit (15 hours of learning) = 2 ECTS Credit (30 hours of study).

This module is applicable to Bachelor’s, Expert, Specialist, Master’s and Ph.D. (Doctor) curricula. The Distance learning Operations Management degree curriculum is planned at the postgraduate stage – Master’s or Doctoral.

Course (3 credits): Select 1 discipline from this module.
Expert (21 credits): 1st 7 disciplines or select 7 disciplines from this module.
Specialist (15 credits): 1st 5 disciplines or select 5 disciplines from this module.

Ph.D. (Doctor) (45 credits): choose from 3 to 9 disciplines from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from former education and experience. Add 18 credits corresponding to a final thesis to the chose disciplines.

Bachelor’s (130 credits): The Admission certificate supplied after submission of the application for admission will indicate the amount of credit transferred and validated from former education and experience, and the amount of credits demanded to finish this undergraduate curriculum major. Additional courses from other modules of this faculty will be assigned in case that the credits showed on this module are not enough to finish the bachelor’s demanded credits.

Master’s (35 credits): choose from 3 to 9 disciplines from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from former education and experience. Add 13 credits corresponding to a final project to the chose disciplines.
