DMAT MBBS 2011 BDS Madhya Pradesh Exam
All India Dental & Medical Admission Test for Admission to MBBS and BDS Private & Dental & Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh.
DMAT 2011 Eligibility
Age Limit No student shall be admitted to a Medical/Dental College until he/she has completed or will complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2011.
Educational Qualification
For admission to MBBS/BDS Course, those students who have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P. OR
CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects independently and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also. OR
Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above. OR
Any other qualification recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course.
No rounding off of the marks secured by the students will be done in individual subjects of final total while converting marks of the individual subjects out of 100 or total marks out of 200. For example, if the total of the marks in four subjects comes to 99 out of 200 percentage comes to 49.50 that will not qualify the student.
The students who are appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent in March/April 2011 are also eligible to appear for DMAT 2011 furnishd they fulfill the eligibility conditions.
If the marks of a student at XII or 10+2 (or equivalent) examination have been revised after revaluation, the eligibility of the student may be altered. The student will be permitted to avail the benefit of revised marks subject to his/her representation to the admission committee and production of necessary proof to the satisfaction of the admission committee. The students must note that the admission committee will not be responsible for late declaration of result of such re-evaluation or late submissions of proof due to any reasons whatsoever and request to consider/reconsider the claim of the student arising out of such re-evaluation shall not be entertained. Students have to furnish all proofs before the publication of merit list.
DMAT 2011 Exam Pattern
Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) consisting of 200 multiple choice questions where subject wise distribution will be as under:
Physics 50 Questions
Chemistry 50 Questions
Botany 50 Questions
Zoology 50 Questions
Duration 3 hours.
Medium of Examination
The medium of the test shall be English or Hindi only.
DMAT Application Form 2011
MP DMAT 2011 Application Forms for Entrance Examination will be available at the selected branches of State Bank of India on payment of Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven hundred Fifty Only) through cash.
DMAT 2011 Application Forms are also available at all participating colleges/ Association Office on payment of Prescribe amount/- through cash/ demand draft in favour of APDMC ayable either at Dtate bank of India, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal (Branch Code. 5798) or Central Bank of India, Arera Hills, Bhopal (Branch Code. 3312).
DMAT Application Forms 2011 can also be obtained from the Association Office/Participating Colleges by post by remitting a DD of Rs. 850/- (including postal charges).
DMAT Application Form can also be filled Online Form.
In case the application form has been filled online from website it shall be submitted alongwith Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of APDMC, Bhopal payable at above branches.
Before filling the application form the student must familiarize himself/herself with the information given in this brochure and shall satisfy his/her eligibility to appear in the examination.
The student is required to go through the information brochure carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to the filling-in of the Application Form. Application Form will be filled by Black Ball Point Pen in English Only.
Overwriting, cuttings, erasing in the Application Form may lead to rejection of the form and should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the student. (It is advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the form and then fill in the main document.) Student should write his/her complete address in the application form for further correspondence. Pin Code should be given in the space furnishd for Pin Code.
Students are also advised to keep photocopy of OMR Application Form in his/her record.
The Application Forms complete in all respect should be submitted to the Controller of Examinations, DMAT OFFICE, E-2/51, Arera Colony, Near Niramay Hospital, Opp. Hobibgani Railway Station, Bhopal – 462016 by Registered / Speed Post / Courier / in Person with Examination Fee of Prescribe amount by Demand Draft drawn in favour of APDMC, payable either at:

DMAT Selection Procedure 2011
On the basis of the marks obtained by students in the DMAT-2011 merit list will be prepared depending upon number of sanctioned seats. Remaining students up to a fixed number will be kept in the waiting list. Merit criteria in case of students with equal marks.
Merit order of students having secured equal total marks will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in individual subjects arranged in order of their importance as follows:
1st – Zoology
2nd – Botany
3rd – Chemistry
4th – Physics
There after the person elder in age will be preferred.
The screening of the students shall be done at the institution level. The admissions shall be done on the basis of merit list prepared from the applications received. If the seats are not filled under NRI quota then such seats shall be filled as drop out / vacant seats through DMAT Merit.
In such case college shall inform the detail of vacant seats in writing by 4th week, 2011 (for admission through DMAT 2011 to the office of the Admission & Fees Regulatory Committee for Professional Institution as well as to APDMC office) so that remaining seats can be filled through DMAT Merit, before the last date of admission i.e. last week, September 2011.
