Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College was founded way back in the year 1989.
Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil University was launched subordinate the section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification no F.9.21/2000-U.3 Dated 20.6.2002 of the Govt. of India
Recognized by NAAC with A Grade. The Medical College was originally affiliated to the Mumbai University and Nashik’s Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. But later it was made a part of the later University.

Should have passed 10+2 or Equivalant
Student with other qualifications shall have to get equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
