Osmania University EDCET Syllabus 2011

On Behalf of APSCHE Osmania University conduct the Education Common Entrance Test.

EDCET Syllabus is distributed in A,B and C part.

A: General English
In this section general test of English is conducted. Which consist of Reading Comprehension, Correction of sentenses, articles, tenses and grammar. Test of Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms is done. And some more test of English Grammar is conducted.
B: General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude
This section is about judging the candidates general knowledge, day to day observation. This test includes history, geography, culture, society, Economics and more. Teachcing is vital part of this exam. Rigorous test of teaching aptitude is done in this section.

C: Any one subject to choose from.
Mathematics MS
Physical Sciences Physics and Chemistry
Biological Sciences Botany and Zoology BS
Social Studies Geography, History, Civics and Economics SS
English : Special English in B.A.

For all the above subjects syllabus will be of graduation level as well the topic related to class 8th to 12th. The English syllabus is as per class eighth till tenth. It consists of 50 marks paper.
