English and Foreign Languages University School of Distance Education
The English and Foreign Languages University is also known as EFLU is a central university that is located in India. The university was presented in 1958. The university has a department of distance learning education. The distance education department of University will endeavor to place English and other languages in the service of those people who have until now remained deprived of adequate language skills and benefits that flow from the knowledge of English and foreign languages. The English and Foreign Language University was also one among the first institutes in the country to start a cultural studies course with an M.A in that subject.

Eligibility criteria
An M. A. in English (preference will be given to teachers of English)
OR
A Master’s degree with at least a second class in an allied subject (Linguistics, Education, Mass Communication or Psychology) plus 5 years’ experience of teaching English
OR
An M.A. with at least a second class plus 5 years’ experience of teaching “Methods of Teaching English” at the M. Ed/B. Ed. Level.
Application procedure
You can write a letter by enclosing a crossed D.D. for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) to the ‘The Head, Department of English Studies, School of Distance Education, Applications will not be entertained without the photo copy of the pass certificate of M A in English and a photo copy of Community certificate for SC/ST.
