Introduction
Year of inception 2002. G.S.L. Educational Society was established in Rajahmundry in 1999, with the primary objective of promoting medical education and health care in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Medical College and Hospital buildings both facilities are in a unitary complex spanning about 80 Acres of land adjacent to National Highway – 5. GSL is built in the fond memory of Smt. Ganni Subba Lakshmi, mother of Dr. Ganni Bhaskara Rao, who inspired him to serve the mankind by pursuing the noble profession of medication and health care. GSL Medical College extends 5.5 years bachelor degree courses in MBBS.
Admission to this course is made through a merit list prepared on the basis of the score of the campaigners in the EAMCET – Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. In this course the reservation available to different reserved categories like SC, ST and OBC is as per the Government of India norms. GSL Medical College is one of the top private medical institutions in India. It has well planned and esthetically laid out infrastructure, highly qualified teaching staff, well equipped laboratories and spacious play grounds. Spanned across eighty acres of land, the college and hospital buildings are surrounded by spacious lawns, beautiful gardens and tall trees lining the avenues.
